The Staff Selection Commission (SSC)  has released the latest notification for conducting the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, in 2022.

SSC conducts this CHSL Competitive examination every year to recruit various Group C posts like Lower Divisional Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India and different Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc.

SSC CHSL 2023 Notification Details:

Vacancy Information:

Total Numbers of Posts: 4500 vacancies (Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/, Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Data Entry Operator (DEO))

Pay Scale (Salary Information):

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Age Limit for SSC CHSL Exam 2023:

As of 01-01-2022, the candidate's age must be between 18-27 years/. Candidates born before 02-01-1995 and after 01-01-2004 are not eligible to apply.

Note:

Upper age limit relaxation is applicable for various categories like SC/ST, OBC, PwDB, Defence Personnel, Central Government Civilian Employees, Widows, Divorced Women etc;

Application Fee:

• Eligible candidates must pay Rs.100/- as an application either through online payment mode or offline challan payment from the prescribed banks (Mostly SBI - State Bank Of India Challan).
• Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST. PwBD, Ex-Servicemen are exempted and have no need to pay any application fee.

How to apply online for SSC CHSL 2023 Exam?

• All the eligible candidates can apply only through online mode by visiting the official website: https://ssc.nic.in/
• After visiting the SSC CHSL website, the applicant must register for the first time before filling out the online application.
• Candidate must upload the resized colour passport-size photograph AND SIGNATURE.
• After filling out the application form, kindly pay the application if required based on the Category and complete the final step.

Important Dates for SSC CHSL 2023 Exam:

• Online application submission start and end date : 06th December-2022, Tuesday (06-12-2023) to 04th January 2023, Wednesday (04-01-2023)
• Last date and time for uploading the online application form: 04th January 2023, Wednesday  (04-01-2023) - 23:00Hrs (11pm)
• Last date and time for generating the offline challan: 04th January-2023, Wednesday  (04-01-2023) - 23:00Hrs (11pm)
• Last date for paying the SSC CHSL Exam 2023 Fee Online:  05th January 2023, Thursday (05-01-2023) - 23:00Hrs (11pm)
• Last date for SSC chsl challan payment (only during working hours of the bank): 06th January 2023, Friday(065-01-2023)
• Dates of Window for Application Form Correction and online payment of Correction Charges: 09-01-2023 (Monday) to 10-01-2023 (Tuesday) (23:00)
• SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Exam Date: Between Feb-March, 2023
